CRISPIN LEWIS. (Musical director, from the 136th season). Whilst a post-graduate student at the Royal College of Music, founded The Musicall Compass, (a specialist baroque ensemble of voices and instrument). Crispin is also conductor of Thurrock Choral Society, Luton Choral Society, Welwyn Garden City Chorus and Noah's Company (an opera company devoted to involving children in music).

He has directed orchestral, operatic and choral repetoire at London venues including the Wigmore Hall, the Royal Opera House Linbury Studio, the South Bank Centre, Purcell Room, St. John's Smith Square, St.James' Picadilly, St. Martin-in-the-fields and St. Giles' Cripplegate.

Crispin has also performed professionally as a violinist, singer and keyboard continuo player.
